Biography

Joanne Swets has been working at the House of the Dutch Provinces in Brussels since 2006. She is a senior adviser on Public Affairs and European Affairs for the province of Utrecht. She advises the Regional Ministers and colleagues of Utrecht and other provinces on European Affairs and is responsible for interest representation.

Joanne is also chair for the working group on Sustainable and Healthy Environment, on with topics such as the European Environmental Action Program and the European ambitions for Zero Pollution. This means that she is especially dealing with policy issues in the fields of European Air-quality, EU Soil-health and Water, but also with other related topics.
