Biography


Catharina Lavrijssen has been coordinator of the EU cooperation of the Randstad Region since January 2021. She facilitates and stimulates coordination and cooperation between the four provinces of North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht and Flevoland. Catharina is responsible for realizing the European ambitions laid down in the Randstad context, with a focus on joint identification and joining forces on priority dossiers.

Career


After completing her studies in General Economics at Tilburg University, Catharina worked for more than fifteen years in various positions at the Dutch government.
