Biography

Lieke van Alphen Buscardini has been representing the interests of the province of North Brabant in Brussels since November 2011. Together with Machteld van Dijk Broberg, who is also a Public Affairs advisor, she is responsible for maintaining the relations of the province of North-Brabant with the EU institutions and she identifies EU-related opportunities.

In addition to Public Affairs, Lieke has extensive experience in managing projects (co-)financed by Europe and advising on economic policy. She was also coordinator of the European Social Fund for a foundation of care homes in Brabant.

Lieke has the priorities industrial policy, mobility and regional economy in her portfolio.
