Let the Stars Shine: engaging citizens in the EU

We would like to invite you to the ninth REGION drinks on July 11, 2017, from 17h00 to 19h00 on the fourth floor of the House of the Dutch Provinces (HNP), Rue de Treves, 59-61 in Brussels. Speeches start at 17h30.

The REGION drink “Where regions and Europe meet”, is a joint initiative of MEP Lambert van Nistelrooij and the House of the Dutch Provinces. Rob van Eijkeren, Head of office House of the Dutch Provinces, will welcome you.

MEP Lambert van Nistelrooij will introduce “Let the Stars Shine”, a common initiative of nine Members of the European Parliament.

Ronald van Roeden, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the European Union will react and give his vision on communication of EU policy. Important, as policy close to the citizens is needed now more than ever. Other MEPs will conclude with information on their “Let the Stars Shine” actions in the Member States. After the introduction and the speeches, there is plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
