Vivian Stribos has been representing the Dutch provinces at the European institutions in Brussels since February 15, 2013. She identifies, monitors, and were possible, influences through networks new European legislation and policies that will have an impact on the provinces. Here, she mainly focusses on the sectors Agrofood and Mobility.
As EU representative of the province of Gelderland, she explores the European playing field and the network in Brussels and connects them with the province.
After finishing her studies in History and Communication at Radboud University in Nijmegen (1983) Vivian worked as a strategic communication advisor for various organizations, including an advertising agency in the Hague, PGGM Pension Fund, KPN Telecom, an ICT-service provider, and the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
Since 2007, she has worked as an independent strategic communication advisor for several entities such as the municipality of Castricum, Wageningen University and Research, and the provinces of Gelderland and Overijsel.
