Biography
Luc Haverkamp has been working as an EU-Representative for the Province of North-Holland since 2023. He does this together with colleague Ilse Buijs. Luc is involved in the priority ‘Agrofood’ and is the coordinator for this priority regarding the joint interests of the twelve Dutch provinces. Next to this, he advises the Regional Minister of North-Holland in the European Committee of the Regions.
Luc likes to connect, has an affinity with international cooperation and is always in for a (board)game.
Career
Prior to this, Luc worked as a Trainee at various organizations within the Metropolitan Region of Amsterdam. He studied Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and Leiden University and gained international experience in Italy and Israel.
